Account responsibility
Members must provide accurate registration information, protect their credentials and notify the portal administrator if they suspect unauthorised access.
Approval and access
Account access may depend on email verification, account-type review and compliance with community standards. SalaamApp may request additional information, restrict features, suspend access or decline an account where necessary for safety and integrity.
Acceptable use
- Do not impersonate another person or organisation.
- Do not publish fraudulent opportunities, misleading claims, harmful content or unlawful material.
- Do not scrape profiles, send unsolicited bulk messages or misuse protected contact information.

Member content
Members remain responsible for the content they publish and must have permission to share personal data, images, documents and third-party materials.
Service availability
Features may change, be moderated or become temporarily unavailable for maintenance, security or legal reasons.
Privacy Policy
Information collected
SalaamApp may process account details, profile information, verification status, community activity, messages, applications, preferences, security events and files submitted by members.
Why information is used
- To create, verify and secure accounts.
- To provide community, directory, events, opportunities and messaging functions.
- To prevent abuse, investigate reports and enforce community standards.

Visibility and contact protection
Members control many profile visibility settings. Email addresses, mobile numbers, verification documents, applications and private messages should be protected by access rules and not displayed publicly by default.
Retention and deletion
The operating organisation must publish final retention periods. Account deletion may require limited retention of security, legal or moderation records where permitted by law.
Security
Hosted deployments should use encrypted connections, Supabase Auth, private storage, Row Level Security, administrative MFA, audit logs and least-privilege access.
Member choices
Members may manage privacy, communication and notification settings, request a data export, deactivate their account or request deletion, subject to applicable retention requirements.
